Sherwood Energy Village (SEV) is the trading name of "Sherwood Environmental Village Ltd."  Sherwood Energy village is also the name of the 36-hectare (91-acre) site we own in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands region of England.  Our organisation was founded in 1996 and since then we have been engaged in the active regeneration and development of Ollerton.  The latest phase of this work is SEVille of which we, SEV, are the developers.
The SEV organisation has a unique insight into social, environmental and economic regeneration with Sherwood Energy Village delivering holistic sustainable development in a commercial setting.  In 2005 Sherwood Energy Village won the accolade of Enterprising Britain 2005 in a national competition organised by H.M. Treasury in addition to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) East Midlands Regional award for Regeneration and the overall Best Project award. Additionally SEV has been a magnate for visitors from around the world who visit us to see our work at Sherwood Energy Village and to investigate with us opportunities to regenerate areas in their countries along social and environmental principles. 

Sherwood Energy Village (SEV) is an Industrial & Provident Society.  We are a fully trading company but our profits are applied back to our Aims and Objectives rather than shareholder benefit.  

The Energy Village is NOT a governmental, local authority or municipal initiative.  We are not a public sector organisation.
